What to expect
I often get asked how does a typical wedding day go from a wedding photography perspective and it’s generally a little something like this…
Getting ready photos
With my all day wedding photography coverage I arrive in the morning a few hours before the ceremony to capture the buildup and getting ready of both parties - if this is logistically difficult due to different locations then a second photographer would be recommended to join me. An increasingly popular request is photography capturing the bride reveal to the father of the bride and/or bridesmaids.

Group photos
Whilst I’m best known for my natural candid wedding photography that focusses on people, many weddings do like to have some posed group photos with family and friends which i’m always happy to capture, as formally or fun as you like (usually a bit of both).
The two of you
When it comes to photos of the two of you, as you see in my wedding gallery, it’s very relaxed and natural, nothing posed. I love to make the most of coastal and countryside scenery to elevate images and use natural light, especially golden hour.
On a wedding day I've found that two slots on the day works well, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, 10-15 mins so you can get back to the party. Like group photos, the less time you spend standing around having your photograph taken, the more time you have to enjoy the day with your family and friends.
My pre-wedding shoot is very popular with couples wanting a little photo practice before the big day. We hangout for an hour usually on the coast in Cornwall on a summers evening, I provide a few tips and you get to keep the edited photos which many use for wedding invitations or photos hung up on the wedding day.

Your wedding photos
I capture on average 4000 photos from an all day wedding and choose the best and hand edit in my signature style with vibrant ‘real’ colours.
Your wedding images are presented in a professional website gallery (an example all day wedding photography gallery is available to view on request) that you can share with friends and family. From the website gallery shop there’s a variety of professional print options including the option to design and order a beautiful wedding album.
I also send in the post your wedding images on USB along with some professional prints that you choose using your website gallery.
Within 7 days of your wedding day I will send a few preview images which you can use on social media and for thank you cards.
The full collection (500+ photos from an all day wedding) is ready within 12 weeks of your wedding day.
