Hi I’m Mark, a professional Cornwall family photographer based near Falmouth, specialising in family photography sessions available throughout Cornwall.

I’ve photographed well over 100 family photo sessions in Cornwall and from experience found that a 1 hour session is the perfect amount of time.

A mix of mainly candids with a few group photos, timeless images of your family to treasure, edited with vibrant colours where the greens are green, and the blues are blue.

Alongside being a wedding photographer, I love capturing family photography in Cornwall. My style is all about candid unposed photos as I’ve always found the real magic happens when as a family you're interacting and ignoring the camera, capturing the laughs, hugs, little moments of connection, I love to capture this and the different personalities…images that evoke emotions when you look back at them.

You may of course want a few group photos / portraits looking at the camera which I’m happy to capture, but the main focus is on candid images like you see in my gallery below.

As a family and being a dad to two boys myself inspired my love for family photography. I know first hand how quickly children grow up and change.

We absolutely treasure our family photos taken by a professional photographer on a beach in Cornwall when our boys were younger.

Naturally I have many beautiful photos of our children but rarely are the four of us photographed together as there’s always one missing who is taking the photo.

It’s one the main reasons why I started family photography sessions as I know these special images of your family together will be treasured by you too.

Professional website gallery - this is where you will download all your family photos in full resolution, no watermarks unlike those school photos you get. They are your images to do as you wish.
Professional print options are available from within your gallery.
All photos backed up to the cloud for 4 years.
Travel included within 25 miles of Falmouth - this includes beautiful locations such as Gwithian, St Agnes, Perranporth, Crantock, Holywell Bay, Porthtowan, Falmouth, Truro, Helford Passage to name just a few. Further afield travel expenses apply.

If you’re looking for an experienced professional family photographer in Cornwall to capture your family photos I’d love to hear from you, simply get in touch with an idea of date/s and location - i’m happy to give ideas on location if needed, especially if you’re on holiday in Cornwall and not sure on the area.
Half payment books me, remaining half due 1 week before the session. A full refund is given if you decide to cancel for whatever reason.
We check the weather forecast a few days before and agree the best time.
The edited images from the session are uploaded to a password protected website gallery where you can share with all your family, view and download images.
- 1 hour family photography coverage. Extended hours are available but generally 1 hour works best unless different locations are involved.

My family photography style is very relaxed and candid/natural. Scenery plays an important part in my photography whether it’s coastal or countryside, Cornwall is blessed with stunning beaches, coastlines and woods.
Be yourselves and have fun as a family - that’s when the real magic happens and where the best images are captured.
I may see opportunities especially with natural light or scenery where I’ll recommend we make the most of, but apart from that, go have fun together and leave the rest to me.
I always include some relaxed group photos of you all together because these are the photos we always struggle to get ourselves if you’re anything like my family - one of you is always missing behind the camera, and selfies on a mobile phone just don’t cut it.
Do not worry if you're camera shy, most of us feel this way when a camera is pointed at us. As someone who is camera shy too, my family photography is very relaxed and candid and is all about capturing natural moments together, personalities…ignore me and the camera.
Run around on a beach, play games, have fun together without any awkward looking into the camera photos (you may want some group photos which i’m happy to capture).
The real magic happens when you're interacting naturally, the laughs, hugs, little moments of connection, I love to capture this and the different personalities, images that evoke emotions when you look back at them.

The majority of family photography sessions in Cornwall take around 1 hour unless there are multiple locations involved but I'm happy to tailor photography for you.
