I’ve captured over 30 weddings at Launcells Barton with a mix of summer, spring, autumn and winter weddings and always filled with love, laughter, amazing food and a great party.

Surrounded by beautiful Cornish countryside, Launcells Barton is a fantastic wedding venue in Cornwall which compliments my style of wedding photography that makes the most of natural light and scenery, all hand-edited with vibrant colours where the greens are green, and the blues are blue.

Whilst I’m best known for my natural candid photos, many weddings have group photos with family & friends which i’m more than happy to capture…and if the weather allows, I love to fly my drone to capture aerial photos.

I use my experience on the day to be in the right place at the right time, capturing the big moments, the in-between moments, the little details, the two of you, your guests, those moments you planned…and those you didn’t! capturing it all to tell the story.

FAQs

What is your wedding photography style & approach?

My wedding photography style is documentary - relaxed, natural/candid, storytelling, unobtrusive ‘fly on the wall’ style let’s you enjoy the day and trust me to capture beautiful images that tell the story.

With all day photography, how many hours do you stay for?

With my all day photography, I generally start 3 hours before the ceremony to capture the build-up and getting ready photos and I'll be with you all day until late into the evening, often 10am to 10pm in summer months. I’m definitely not a wedding photographer who has the car running straight after first dance. I’m there for at least an hour after your first dance, capturing the party which I love.

Can we share photos/videos with family and friends?

Yes your edited photos (and video if you’ve chosen to have video) is all presented in a professional website gallery that you can share with friends and family and anyone with access can download photos.

From the gallery shop, order professional prints, framed photos etc.

It is all backed up in the cloud for a minimum of 4 years.

Have you photographed at Launcells Barton before?

Yes I know the venue and team very well, I’ve captured over 40 weddings at Launcells Barton.

Do you offer video?

I can professionally video your ceremony, speeches and first dance myself whilst photographing at the same time.

If you would like a highlights film of your day, I will recommend videographers to you.

We’d like some group photos with family and friends, is that ok?

I capture group photos at almost every wedding and these can be as formal or informal as you like. Launcells Barton is a fantastic venue to capture group photos at because whatever the weather is doing there’s always great options available for indoors as well as outdoors.

How should we be in front of the camera?

Most people do not enjoy having a camera on them. I’m a strong believer that natural candid photos are best where you’re relaxed and being yourselves. You'll notice in my photos that apart from group photos, very few images have people looking at the camera, looking at each other yes, at the camera, not so much.
