A springtime pre-wedding photography shoot in Cornwall is something I always look forward to. The couple having booked me as their wedding photographer, often well over a year ago, and agree with me a place to meet, usually an evening somewhere on the coast of Cornwall, and spend an hour together where I photograph the couple naturally and creatively, just being themselves. It's always fun and worthwhile as we get to know each other before the wedding day and the couple get to keep the edited photos from the pre-shoot. It's also a fantastic opportunity for those that don't particularly like or are comfortable with having photos taken of themselves to get used to having a camera pointed at them and to ignore the camera, and just be natural, relaxed and yourselves. It takes away any nerves about photography on your wedding day so it's a win win all round, and it's free for anyone who books me as their wedding photographer for a full day.
Below is a pre-wedding photography shoot I enjoyed recently with Sarah and Ben at Wheal Coates in St Agnes in Cornwall, one of my favourite locations on the north coast, and I look forward to telling their wedding day story this weekend when they getting married at The Green in Liskeard, Cornwall.
