Lottie & Jol's rural wedding in Dordogne, France, was my first destination outside the UK as a wedding photographer and it was special. The wedding venue of Le Domaine De La LÉotardie was the perfect setting for an outdoor rustic wedding set in a natural park with features including a picture postcard Dovecote (pigeonnier) building standing as a focal point and a stone barn seating the 100 guests under candlelight. The music throughout the day included a young talented jazz trio from Bordeaux and a rock & roll band from Brighton, both were unbelievably good. Amazing food, drink, even nature put on a great show too, with lovely spells of sunshine, refreshing rain showers and a spectacular lightning show later on in the evening. So below are some of my favourite images I captured from the 1,200 edited photos they received.
Lottie and Jol, I loved being part of your wedding day in Dordogne - it was a beautiful, emotional, fun party and I loved capturing the story and hanging out with you and your lovely friends and family. See you both back in Cornwall soon ; )
