As an award-winning wedding photographer with over 13 years experience, I’ve been lucky enough to capture the celebrations of over 400 weddings; from rustic barns, tipis on the coast, grand wedding venues, beach and clifftop elopements…and everything in between.
Personally speaking, I think getting married is one of the most incredible things you can do, and for me there’s no ideal wedding or couple…love is love and it’s beautiful in every form.

Not a fan of posed staged photos?
From day i’ve kept the same simple belief and ethos to wedding photography - the best images come from not posing in front of the camera...the real magic is captured when people aren't aware of the camera, natural and photographed in the moment.
I direct only when needed, usually to make the most of scenery or natural light.
Of course you might like a few group photos with family and friends which can be formal or informal and fun as you like (both works well), perhaps a photo with all of your guests using my drone, or photos with your dog, I'm happy to capture these, but apart from that, my main goal is to genuinely capture your wedding story without any posing or staged shots.
You'll see in my portfolio that there are very few photos of people looking at the camera.

Ninja is my middle name
Nah it's not really
I don't even have a white belt in karate, but being described as a ninja photographer is something I love to hear as that's exactly what I set out to be - unobtrusive, discreet, empathic, but always present and use my experience to be in the right place at the right time to capture the best photos.
Not just people photography…
People are at the heart of what I do - I love photographing everyone on a wedding day natural and candid in the moment, letting the celebrations play out and capturing it all naturally to tell the story.
But it's not just about the people. Add dogs into this. They're part of the family too.
From my work in both wedding and family photography, I know how special dogs are to people, and the images I capture are always emotive and special to them. I've photographed many dog at weddings over the years, many being ring bearers, most behaved....some didn't...but always memorable photos.

Your wedding, my approach
Each wedding is unique and there are so many different variables at play on a wedding day, but the one constant is the two of you. This is YOUR wedding day and tailor my photography to meet your needs. Your wedding photos should feel joyful, genuine and completely yours.
I'm all about capturing real moments, from the heartfelt vows to the dance floor shenanigans, the laughs, the tears and everything in between, weddings are a real rollercoaster of moments and emotions....and it's why I love photographing weddings.
Cornwall my home
I travel where wedding photography takes me, although out of 400 weddings i’ve photographed, over 350 have been in Cornwall where I live.
Cornwall is a very popular location to get married and it’s easy to see why with the stunning coastlines, beaches, countryside and varied wedding and elopement venue choices. Over the years I've photographed at many of the best wedding venues in Cornwall, from Nancarrow Farm, Pencarrow House, Launcells Barton, Boconnoc Estate and Trevenna Barns in the Cornish countryside to venues on the coast such as Lusty Glaze, Carbis Bay and Polhawn Fort to name just a few. I've also photographed many tipi weddings, festival weddings, farm weddings, large weddings and smaller intimate weddings and elopements.
Scenery plays a big part in my style of creative photography, especially on the coast which always inspires me and I love to use scenery to elevate the images I capture. Whether it's photos on a beach in the day or golden hour sunset photos in the evening, from clifftops to countryside, Cornwall is blessed with landscapes that wedding photographers like myself dream of.
I can video too!
Increasingly popular with wedding couples is my option to professionally video the full ceremony all the speeches using one of my cameras on a tripod (photographing at the same time) and using an external mic for professional sound.
But for those who would like a highlights video of their day and/or a feature film - I regularly work with wedding videographers in Cornwall and Devon who I can recommend to you.
Lifetime memories
After all the expenses, your photos are one of the only things you keep and enjoy when your wedding day is over...other than each other.
These photos last a lifetime, taking you back to that amazing day and relive it all. It’s time travel without needing a flux capacitor.
The website gallery you receive from me allows you to share all your edited wedding photos with your family and friends easily and anyone you give access can download the photos. There are also professional print options within the gallery including wedding albums, framed photos and prints.
Aerial photography
I bring my drone along with me to every wedding and if the weather and permissions allow I love to capture aerial photographs to give another perspective to your celebrations.
Also handy to use the drone for large group photos of all your guests in one photo.
Destination wedding photographer
